In 2002 she had taken several semesters of yoga in college. It ignited a passion to continue on this holistic journey of healing my mind, body, and spirit. After several years of her own practice she wanted to share this sacred, ancient gift with others to facilitate their healing process as well.
In 2010 she decided to become a yoga teacher, and received a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Pilgrimage of the Heart Yoga. I have continued my education in yoga teaching by attending an eclectic blend of workshops at various places. I was an assistant Yoga Teacher at Pilgrimage for the next eight months after obtaining my certification.
In 2011 Lanita Varshall honored me by allowing her to be a yoga teacher at A Gentle Way Yoga Studio. She loves this studio. In addition she loves everyone who works and practices here. I am at home here. I have always been very sensitive to energy, and have always felt a strong healing presence at A Gentle Way Yoga. Lanita and the rest of the staff genuinely care about others, and give sacred space for others to heal.
The classes are active, but at the same time easier modifications are provided in order that everyone will feel comfortable. After receiving permission from the student, I enjoy giving hands on adjustments to send love, relaxation, and healing light to the student. Namaste.
