Yoga for Mommies, Prenatal Yoga Classes begin March 13th at A Gentle Way Yoga in La Mesa. Yoga for Mommies is open to moms who are expecting and moms who have young children. In this Prenatal Yoga class you will discover a deeper bond with your baby, we will help prepare you for labor and delivery, and create a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental community. Come get some relaxing me-time at Yoga for Mommies!

Amber Wilson –
My name is Amber Wilson and I am San Diego certified, born and raised. I have always had a gravitational pull towards Yoga. I finally pursued it in my 20’s with a friend who literally had been doing yoga since she was in her mommas belly. I really fell in love with Yoga during a Prenatal Yoga class in 2011. I was in my second trimester and the instructor said, “Put one hand on your heart and put the other hand on your your babies heart. Know there are two hearts beating as one.” As tears streamed down my face it was at that moment that I knew I wanted to give this feeling and connection to others. In 2013, right before my son turned one, I went to Pilgrimage of the Heart Yoga and to received my 200 hour YTT.
I am in love with the prenatal and postnatal world. I believe birth matters and you matter. I create a space of non-judgment and comfort for my students. My goal is to create a community for mommas where we can all support, encourage, and empower one another. Read more…
